Meet Our Nutritionist, Krystal Goodman NTP, CPT
Krystal Goodman’s passion for fitness and nutrition can only be matched by her clients’ performance in the gym and her first-class meal-prep in the kitchen. For the last twelve years, Krystal has been a certified personal trainer, building an impressive clientele and more importantly, a reputation for her clients’ results. Her national certifications in NCSF along with another in the world-renowned TRX training system, make Krystal a versatile fitness professional. Krystal has also been using her expertise in nutrition at Blackberry Farm, a Relais Chateaux five star bed and breakfast, as their nutritionist for over three years.
A graduate of the University of Tennessee, Krystal received her Bachelor of Science in Human Ecology, majoring in Nutrition, while also minoring in Business Administration. During her time on Rocky Top, she was also an integral member of the rising leader in sports nutrition in Division I athletics, serving as Allison Maurer’s (C.S.C.S., R.D.) resident intern from 2009-2010. Her focus on nutrition and its relationship with athletic performance before, during, and after competition primed Krystal for a promising career whose influence has been felt throughout the Knoxville community.
Most recently, Krystal went on to receive her Nutritional Therapy Practitioner certification. She focuses on a whole foods, nutrient-dense, and properly prepared diet for each individual pertaining to their specific need. With this holistic approach, she has seen remarkable results with her clients whether it be weight loss or feeling better.
