Fillers improve the appearance of moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds by adding volume and fullness for an immediate and youthful effect.
Natural collagen is what gives skin a smooth, supple, youthful appearance. In aesthetics, we refer to something called the ‘triangle of beauty’. An inverted triangle represents a youthful face – the downward apex of the triangle would be the chin. As we age, our natural collagen breaks down, resulting in loss of facial volume. This aging process causes the facial structure to sag and shift, resulting in a more square shaped, older looking face. Dermal fillers can help to replenish this lost volume and correct moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds restoring a more natural, youthful, and lifted appearance.
There are many external factors in addition to age that can accelerate the severity of facial aging, such as smoking, weight changes, sun exposure, and genetics. Finding the right dermal filler to treat your specific concerns requires exceptional training and an artist’s eye. The fillers we use each have unique properties. A smooth-flowing hyaluronic acid gel may be perfect for a plumper lip, while a thicker filler is best used to add definition to the cheeks. Our medical providers are expert injectors and artists as well. They understand facial anatomy and what is needed in each area to get the most natural looking correction.

Dermal Fillers FAQs
Will it hurt?
We have a number of options to help ease the discomfort associated with the procedure, including numbing cream, a cooling device, as well as a nitrous oxide system (laughing gas). We do our best to make our patients as comfortable as possible.
How long does the typical appointment take?
Treatment times vary from 30-60 minutes.
Is there any downtime or recovery time?
Occasionally, patients will experience some bruising at the injection sites. They are usually mild and should dissipate within a few days.
When will I see results?
You will notice changes almost immediately. There will likely be some initial swelling that should subside within 24 hours.
How long will my results last?
The longevity of your results depends on the filler being used and the location in which it is being used. Typically, fillers are visible for 6 to 24 months. Taking good care of your skin with one of our medical grade skin care lines will help enhance and prolong your results. Speak to your provider regarding appropriate after care.
Tell me about the Tear Trough procedure.
As we age, we lose volume in the tear trough region – giving us tired eyes due to dark circles, wrinkles thinning skin and under-eye hollows. This ageing change can start as early as our late twenties and can cause a lot of distress when looking in the mirror.
Tear trough fillers are an effective way of treating dark circles under the eyes and under-eye hollows due to volume loss. Precisely based filler adds volume to the area, reducing the darkness, hollows and wrinkles. It also improves skin quality by boosting collagen production and hydrating skin from the inside.
Am I a candidate for the Tear Trough procedure?
Patients who are good candidates often complain of a ‘hollow look’ or dark circles under they eyes; they may also point out enlarging fat pockets in the lower eyelids. Selecting appropriate patients for tear trough treatment requires expert judgment. Excellent candidates have good skin elasticity and adequate skin thickness. The position of the orbital rim to the tear trough is also an extremely important consideration. For these reasons, not everyone is a good candidate for treatment of the tear trough.
What’s a Liquid Nose Job?
Non-Surgical Nose Jobs are used to provide a temporary, but a long-lasting modification to the nose structure! This procedure can even out irregularities along the bridge of the nose, make the nose appear straighter, raise the nasal bridge, or camouflage a hump on your profile. We highly recommend this treatment if you’re wanting to test what enhancement would look like, or desire a modification without undergoing an irreversible surgical procedure like rhinoplasty.
Am I a candidate for a liquid nose job?
A liquid nose job is a great option for someone looking to change their nose, with much less commitment than surgical Rhinoplasty! There will be no cast, no hiding for weeks, and no residual swelling and bruising months later!
The Liquid Nose Job is a fantastic option to change your look and try out an enhancement without permanent surgery! Skip the scalpel and come see what this innovative new procedure is all about. Not to mention it’s much less expensive.
Tell me about jawline contouring.
The jawline is an area of the face that can change dramatically with age. Many patients inquire about how to reverse the effects of ageing without resorting to a surgical procedure as the initial step. In other cases, patients with a receding or weak jawline feel that their appearance can be vastly improved if they had just a touch more definition or volume.
Dermal fillers help anyone who wants to reshape, contour, and tighten the look of their jawline without surgery and its associated costs and recovery time.
Am I a candidate for Jawline Contouring?
Jaw enhancement may be right for you if you’ve always felt you had a weak jaw line, or if you’ve begun to notice signs of ageing in this area of your face. Many candidates are men wishing for a more chiselled jaw or women who wish their jaw looked softer and more feminine. Jaw enhancement injections are popular among patients searching for a minimally invasive way to change the contours of the jaw area.
The treatment can be performed on most adults who are in good overall health and who are at or near their ideal weight. Good candidates are also realistic about the effects of the treatment. Jaw enhancement can achieve a subtle but noticeable change in the contours of your jaw area. Schedule a consultation visit with us to find out whether jaw enhancement is right for you.

The Science Behind Fillers
At RevitalyzeMD, we offer two types of fillers: hyaluronic acid fillers (Belotero, Restylane, and Juvederm) and biostimulatory fillers (Sculptra and Radiesse).
Hyaluronic acid is a substance that is found in our skin naturally (but one that lessens as we age, causing a decrease in our skin volume and hydration). These reversible injectables replenish our stores of hyaluronic acid, providing fullness and elasticity back to our skin. Because hyaluronic acid is an integral substance in our body, the filler material is gradually absorbed into the body over time.
Unlike hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers, biostimulatory fillers help stimulate your skin’s own natural collagen production to help restore its inner structure and increase facial volume that has been lost to aging. Your body will degrade and metabolize this product over a much longer period of time than the hyaluronic acid fillers. During this time, this type of filler stimulates collagen formation itself, contributing to improved viscosity and elasticity of your skin – resulting in a more youthful appearance.
